This knife for auction is the super looking special factory order, 1st issue worm groove genuine bone, 1997 issue copperlock, 4 1/4 closed. This early production sfo copperlock has the 1997 stamp which was the deubt year the case copperlock. The clip blade is tang stamped with case xx usa with 3 dots, dating this as a 1997 issue case knife. The front tang of this blade is pattern stamped with 61549 l ss.
The blade is prdouced with case tru sharp surgical cutlery steel. A case distributor had this knife produced back in 1997 in a total uqantity of 500 pieces. This was the very first of any of the sfo worm groove jigged variation copperlocks and it features the long discontinued case-xx block letter oval shield. Please be sure and see the supersize photos.
